Cincinnati Crankie Festival is a celebration of the art of the scrolling story! Artists, storytellers, makers and musicians will gather to share in the rich tradition of Crankies — moving scrolls where image, word, and often song combine to transmute you from this world to another! Crankie is an art form with historical roots in cultures from around the world but has held on thru the test of time and is currently going through a new american folk revival!
